Fold a face

Here everybody can be creative! Make your choice of ears, eyes, nose/mouth, and colors, and the face builder constructs a diagram for your face!

Some combinations of eyes and mouth do not work, in which case the "forbidden" options become half transparent. You may still select them, but the first choice is reset to blank.

Somewhat small paper, 7.5 cm to 15 cm square, is suitable. Origami paper or copy paper are fine choices.

Some effects like white ears or white eyes do require colored paper with white back. But even without the faces become fine.

The diagram below presents ears, eyes, and nose/mouth independently of eachother. Actual folding will happen in a specific order. E.g. often you will have made ears and eyes when making the nose, even if the diagram shows the nose fold starting with the base. But don't despair: the parts are usually pretty independent, so you should have no problems.
